With the prices of IVF skyrocketing in the US, Canada, Australia, Europe, and the UK–especially for people whose insurance doesn’t cover infertility treatments and gestational surrogacy–traveling abroad for medical care (to places like Spain and the Czech Republic) is become an affordable option for many people. How much cheaper, you ask? On average, getting infertility treatments in Thailand cost 1/3 to 1/2 of the cost back home.
All the medical clinics are located in the bustling capitol city of Bangkok. I’ve visited several Bangkok hospitals during some previous vacations–though not for infertility issues–and the level of knowledge and care I received was the same or better than I received in the States. And the beauty of Bangkok is it’s just a few short hours away from some of the most dazzling islands and beaches in the world.

Dear Abbie,
Of your 7:
your first is a couple’s story about their experience at Synphaet Hospital, they are not the service provider;
your last is a medical tourism agency, again, not the service provider;
your 5th went out of business or was shut down??
one surely costs almost as much as the USA because of their high overhead;
one is rented office space where specialists from hospitals moonlight and do side jobs;
two are reputable service providers of service — but pricey.
Your list would be more helpful if you extracted the JCI-accredited, ISO-certified in vitro fertilization Thailand hospital recommendation of the couple authoring the first site on your list — Synphaet Hospital for Thais in eastern Bangkok.
What that couple does not make clear on their site is that at US$5000 for IVF and US$8300 for IVF-PGD, Synphaet costs much less than all places in Bangkok trying to snag international medical tourists. Synphaet accepts non-Thai patients. Neaby furnished apartments cost only US$167/MONTH.
